Budgeting for Christmas

With Christmas coming up many people are looking for budgeting ideas this year. It's not impossible to do Christmas on a budget and there are lots of things you can save money on with just a little bit of thought and perhaps a bit of time. For example; making decorations, making your own xmas gifts, using other materials instead of expensive wrapping paper (good for your recycling and environmentally friendly image too). You still have enough time to make some gifts or personalised artwork and collect some outdoor materials for making your decorations that are actually free, such as pine cones, although do remember to ask land owners before you go trespassing if you are collecting on private land.

Visit this page for some ideas and at the bottom you will find a link to a Christmas budget worksheet that will also prove useful.
