Budget Worksheet Christmas

Budget worksheet Christmas is a free resource for the purpose of helping you plan your Christmas budget, even though it is probably the last thing on your mind at the end of the summer holidays or in the run up to Christmas. However, you will be able to enjoy Christmas a lot more if you knew you could afford it by planning ahead a little using a budgeting worksheet such as I am providing here for you.

I've always started to think about Christmas in October. I like to spread the cost a little as I found I ended up spending more than I anticipated. Once you have a growing family, Christmas gets a whole lot more expensive.

Instead of going round to Mum's for a lovely, well-cooked Christmas dinner, it'll be me preparing and cooking the meal for the family members! When I started to look into the costs, I decided to make it much easier by setting up this budget worksheet. This allows me to know in advance how much it's likely to cost so I can spread the cost over several months and even begin to think about saving for next year.

Christmas budget

Don't leave it until December to start using this spread sheet, but even if it is already December it's still worth using as people tend to panic spend as it gets closer to the Christmas holiday season and end up going over budget.

Your Christmas budgeting should be started in October or November at the latest to help you plan your spending, so think about this for next year and save this worksheet file. Christmas will be a whole lot easier on your wallet if you spread the cost over several months (or if you're really organised, the whole year) rather than forking out for it in just one month, ouch!

This Budget Worksheet Christmas spreadsheet covers Christmas meals, nibbles, drinks, parties and clothes. It also has an extra tab to keep track of gifts and stocking fillers. Filling it in will show you the true cost of Christmas!

This budget is available in Microsoft Office Excel, 2003 or as a PDF (in two parts). Choose your preference below.
